I enjoy working 6 meters from the house and while mobile. From the house I can use either my Yaesu FT736R or the Kenwood TS850S with the TenTec 1208 transverter. I and my neighbors enjoy using low power, however I can run 150 watts on either setup if needed! The antenna is a 5 element Cushcraft yagi up about 30'. While mobile I have many contacts using an Alinco DX70TH on a 1/4 wave mag mount antenna. I now have an FT100 with the ATAS-10 Antenna system and have made numerous contacts already. I try to visit as many grid squares as possible while mobile.
