SO-35 or Sunsat as it is also know is a new satellite recently activated for amateur use by the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. The amateur portion of Sunsat is currently in mode B, which means the receiver's 436.291 frequency is currently connected to the 145.825 transmitter. The downlink is very easy to hear, even with a hand-held radio. Sunsat can be worked with the popular arrow antenna and HT. Give it a try!
