As part of RMHAM’s Continuing Education program, Mike Lozano K0NGA will present a one hour online training on “DMR Basics for Amateur Radio” on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 07:00 PM Mountain Time.
This session is for Amateur Radio operators and new Hams who are just getting into DMR. The session will cover the basics of DMR: What it is, how it differs from analog amateur radio repeaters and radios, and the building blocks of how to program a channel in a DMR radio. Demonstrations in this session will use the Anytone programming software, but the concepts will apply to any DMR radio.
