Pueblo, Where Old Rovers Go To Die.

The ARRL 2014 VHF QSO Party was operated on June 16th and 17th from DM78 Southeast of Pueblo. The Rocky Mountain Ham Radio team again fielded a great station with 9 bands. The team put in a great effort and submited the following score

We did have gear for 2304 and 3456 but true to form, there was nobody to talk to on those bands.

Band QSOs Grids
50 MHz 629 128
144 MHz 41 15
222 MHz 8 7
432 MHz 12 8
902 MHz 1 1
1296 MHz 2 2
10 GHz 1 1
TOTAL 694 162
117126

All in all, the band conditions were bad this year compared to the last 5 years,  but we did have some openings that allowed us to work quite a few stations.  Local noise at the site was a bit high, but strangely enough kept moving around physically and could not be pinpointed to one location!   We will have to work on this later this year and see how we do for 2015.  Pray to the gods of propagation for 2015!
