Saturday September 26th, John, W0VG and Mike, K7AIH made the trek to Almagre Mountain south of Pikes Peak in order to repair several items. This summer has been hard on our devices with significant lightning damage across the state. Almagre lost 3 of 3 microwave radios causing us to re-work the configuration and replace lots of devices at the site.
In the process, they restored the Almagre VHF repeater which covers a significant portion of the southern part of the state.
We’re diligently working to get all outstanding items corrected before winter sets in on our mountain tops!
