New Mexico RMHAM DMR systems have been upgraded with new talk groups. Albuquerque/Sandia and Pajarito both have local talkgroups that are “local” and keep the traffic on that repeater.
A “New Mexico” talkgroup, which covers all repeaters in New Mexico, has also been added. The Durango and Caviness systems will soon be configured with these talk groups as well to cover all New Mexico repeaters.
As of April 2020, the new Farmington repeater is online thanks to Bill Van Huss N5UBJ and is tied to the other repeaters. The “New Mexico” and “4 Corners” talkgroups have been added to the Farmington, Durango and Caviness/Mancos repeaters.
