On a bright Saturday morning, seven RMHAM members traveled to the Guy Hill repeater site to work on various items. First item of the morning was the Job Safety Assessment (JSA). During this, we talked about the work to be done and where the nearest medical facility is located. One of the tasks of the day was to check over items at the site, followed by tracing and marking the coax cables which are in use to the tower. Notes were taken as to which cables went to which equipment and how they were routed. After tracing them to the tower, Mike K7AIH and Collin climbed the tower marking the coax which is being used and marking unused coax cables which can be removed. The weather allowed Mike and Collin to continue into the afternoon. Mike and Collin returned to the ground after reaching a good point at which to stop. Members left the site and reconvened at Lil Ricci’s in Golden for a late lunch and to socialize.
